APDL don't normally supply new RISC OS computers. The only ARM powered machine running RISC OS still being manufactured is the A9 from Advantage 6 although other suppliers can provide Windows PCs or Apple Macs running Virtual Acorn. However we can supply a variety of second user machines, overhauled and guaranteed and built to your specification.

	RISC OS computers.
	Replacement RiscPC power supplies.
	Miscellaneous parts, batteries, floppy drives, backplanes, extra slices, Viewfinder, etc.
	Network cards.
	Syquest SparQ drives.
	DataSafe external backup drives.
	New and secondhand monitors.
	RiscPC PC cards.

Secondhand computers

We usually have a variety of secondhand machines in available. These prices are for guidance only, machines are normally built to your requirements. If you don't see what you want please ask, bigger hard drive, more RAM, Strong ARM processor, etc.

As well as the ones shown below we often have older machines such as A400, A540, A3000, A5000, etc. Some of these are in good working order, some not but suitable for spare parts. If you need a floppy drive, keyboard, power supply, whatever, for an old Acorn computer we just might have one.

• RiscPC 600.   All with CD ROM, minimum 32MB RAM and 420 Mb hard drive. Prices from just £50. The cheapest way to get a RiscPC. We usually supply these upgraded to RISC OS 3.7 and the faster 710 processors (when available).
• RiscPC 700.   Series 3 (latest) motherboard, CD ROM and minimum 1.2 GB hard drive, 32MB RAM and 1 MB VRAM. This is probably the best starting point if you want a low cost machine that is capable of being upgraded to the latest spec as your pocket allows. Prices start at just £65.
  If you want a higher spec machine then we can upgrade these units with more RAM, Strong ARM, RISC OS 4, bigger hard drive, CD writer, fast IDE i/face, whatever you want.
• Strong ARM RiscPC.   Various configurations available from 'basic' with RISC OS 3.7, Strong ARM processor, 48MB RAM, CD ROM, 3.2 GB hard drive, etc. up to machines with large hard drive, CD writer, 2 slices, even APDL fast IDE interface. Prices start at around £129.
• A7000+.   All machines have CD ROM. Most have 1.2Gb hard drive and 16Mb RAM. Prices from just £40. Not always available so please do call or email first.
• Older models   We sometimes have A3000, A3010, A3020, A5000, etc. machines available. If you are after one of these please contact us. Obviously specifications and prices vary.

All the above machines are complete with mouse, keyboard and power lead except older models which may come without a mouse and/or keyboard. Carriage is extra at cost, typically about £13.

Monitors

We have various secondhand monitors including Acorn AKF60/65, the standard 14" monitor as supplied with the RiscPC and A7000 models. These cost £12 plus carriage or just £8 plus carriage when purchased with a computer.

We can also supply new monitors, both CRT and TFT. We do not normally list these or keep large numbers in stock as they are generic PC items but if you do want a monitor we will try our best to help.
